Wednesday Outfit: Shoes that Pop

So, when I was in high school and college and caught episodes of What Not to Wear, one of the tips I picked up was that, if you had a good pair of red shoes, you could make any outfit pop.

Red flats - Madden Girl

I was a little skeptical, but eventually ended up giving into the red shoes.  I found this pair of flats and as you can all see, I wear them all the time.  But especially with an outfit like this that is so monochrome, and is another primary colour, the red really stands out.

It's late, so that's all I've got.  Love this dress, love this combination, it's a great look for work.  I want to find some other ways to style this dress, but as I've mentioned, the time change is kicking my butt.  But tomorrow I've got a little Irish spirit planned, so hoorah for that.
