I wanted to come here with a picture for you, but I only have one, and my camera is not cooperating right now. Also, it's a little strange because it's after a costuming event where I was Leia, so I still have my hairpiece on (I don't like taking it off if I'm going to be going anywhere public, as I hairspray my hair up there pretty firmly. And it's a picture of me with a fellow moderator at TheForce.Net who I have been modding with and living in the same region as for two years, and we only just met.
So, I shall offer the picture on the tee:

I love this shirt, and I like wearing it to events where I'm being Leia. I kind of had to dress Star Wars-y, since I didn't have time to go home after work before driving down, since Costa Mesa is forever away in late afternoon traffic. It's a habit we have of wearing our nerd gear out to events as our street clothes to make ourselves easily identifiable in a crowd if we're looking for people, or people are trying to find us. It's a good system.
Anyway, I'm fading fast, my camera still isn't cooperating, and I have to work in the morning, and then drive back to Costa Mesa to do the same thing, but as a wrangler/photographer this time. Good times!
